About Your Coach

Erik has been in the health and fitness industry for over a decade, starting as a personal trainer before becoming disillusioned with the commercial gym world and the false promises of social media fitness culture. Seeing influencers sell an unattainable version of health while relying on steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs led him to question the industry’s narrative. Seeking a deeper, more honest approach, Erik earned a coaching certification in Transformational Nutrition, but quickly realized that much of the health coaching industry was just as full of empty promises and oversimplified solutions.

Rather than abandoning the field altogether, he pursued a degree in Health Psychology, gaining insight into the psychological and behavioral factors that shape long-term health. Through years of experience, research, and trial, Erik developed Royal Path Conditioning—a philosophy that rejects extremes and instead helps people build strength, resilience, and consistency through sustainable fitness and nutrition. His coaching is rooted in clarity, structure, and a no-nonsense approach to lifelong health.

The Royal Path Philosophy

Physical health and conditioning are a form of SPIRITUAL FORMATION—a practice that shapes not just the body, but the whole person. Yet, the path toward wholeness is narrow, requiring intention and discipline, and on either side lie traps that pull us away.

On one side is COMFORT—the easy road, the path of least resistance. It whispers that rest is always deserved, that discipline is unnecessary, and that struggle is something to be avoided. But comfort, unchecked, leads to stagnation. It breeds disease, not just in the body, but in the soul. The pursuit of ease dulls vitality, stripping away energy, resilience, and the ability to engage fully in life. It makes us passive, disconnected, and less alive—less human.

On the other side is VANITY—the illusion of progress wrapped in the pursuit of image. It tells us that self-worth is found in appearance, that admiration is the goal, that the body exists to be displayed. But vanity is never satisfied. It demands more—more perfection, more validation, more obsession. And in the end, it hollows us out. The relentless chase for external approval robs us of joy, replacing fulfillment with insecurity and constant comparison. It disconnects us from our deeper purpose and makes us less whole.

The NARROW PATH, however, is not about perfection, but about staying the course—consistently walking toward wholeness, resisting the pull of both comfort and vanity. There is no final destination, no moment where we arrive. But in choosing to remain on this path, we become more alive, more present, more fully who we are meant to be.

The body is not just something we manage—it is something we have been entrusted with. A GIFT, not to be neglected in the name of comfort, nor exploited in the name of vanity, but to be guided toward FLOURISHING.
